We are working furiously, in sweatshop conditions, to bring you new and exciting musical explorations direct from our exploited workforce of starving artists. If you feel like easing the suffering of the many songwriters on our staff, make a donation and all of the grateful donations go to supporting artists or producing new music.

From Coos Bay, Oregon comes Sam Densmore, and his band, Silverhawk, with Sam on guitar and vocals, and brother John Densmore on bass and vocals (both formerly of Oregon's noise pop band Frequency db). Sam and John have a long and adventurous history of touring, writing and recording, and have played shows with Harvey Danger, Frank Black, Carrie Akre, Jeremy Wilson, and many others.

Silverhawk's latest offering, Westward, is now available from Sam and John's own Blue Eyed Crow imprint, and is set to rock the globe. Check it out!

Silverhawk's first release was a four song EP entitled Flowers in June (recorded by John Cluff at the Track Shack, Portland, OR, produced by Jeremy Wilson/John Cluff and released on Pop Sweatshop) which featured Dai Kelly on bass, and Paul Elkins on drums. Flowers in June received national airplay and glowing reviews, including one in the CMJ.

See a quick time video for the song "Keeping it Surreal" at mastanmusic.com, then BUY THE CD or listen to the brother's music on CDBaby.com.
